It’s a Wiener Dog Racing, Bratwurst Tasting, Oompah Dancing celebration at the 32nd Annual Oktoberfest on Historic River Street! Enjoy a bit of Germany…Savannah style with a beer garden offering a variety of beers, food booths featuring German cuisine, and of course the famous Wiener Dog Races hosted by Savannah Morning News! There will be regional arts & crafts exhibitors, live entertainment on the Arbor Stage all weekend long!

That’s right bacon lovers, we said it…BACON FEST is happening on River Street! The 2nd annual event will take place September 4-6! Get ready because select local restaurants will be serving up their mouthwatering bacon creations all weekend long!

Bacon Fest will kick-off on Friday, September 4 from 4-10pm September First Friday Fireworks presented by Wet Willie’s will begin at 9:30pm. The festivities will continue on Saturday, September 5 from 10am-10pm and Sunday, September 6 from 10am-5pm.

Calling all canines! Listen up pups because this event is just for you! Get ready for the Dog Days of Summer on August 7&8! Pups bring your leash, grab your owner and get ready for some dog-gone fun on River Street! Enjoy doggy vendor booths, gourmet treats, and the following activities to keep both pets and humans entertained.

The Savannah Waterfront Association is excited to host their second annual Blues, Jazz & BBQ as part of “Savannah Blues Weekend” June 5-7. Bring the entire family along with your appetite, and get ready to pig out on some mouthwatering BBQ from local restaurants & catering companies!

Seafood Fest is one of River Street’s longest running and most anticipated events of the year. Shrimp, crawfish, oysters, and crab are not the only thing being featured during this year’s event. Live entertainment will take place on the Rousakis Plaza Arbor Stage creating a beach party dance scene. Grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts are optional but encouraged!

The Savannah Waterfront Association presents July 4th celebrations like no other, fireworks, live concerts, street vendors and much more.

Join your fellow countrymen, women, children, families and friends as we celebrate the Fourth of July on historic River Street! Bring your radios tuned into KIX96.5, I-95, MIX 102.1, E93, Magic 103.9, The Ticket, and WBMQ as the fabulous fireworks will be choreographed to music simulcast live! Fireworks will begin around 9:20pm!

One of Georgia’s largest Asian celebrations, featuring a full-day of live stage performances, martial arts demonstrations, authentic cuisine, cultural displays, arts & crafts and educational workshops.  The 18th Annual Savannah Asian Festival brings an entire continent of unique cultures, cuisines, performances and fun to the Savannah Civic Center. The City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs, Well-Fed, and Asian-American volunteers work together to present this one-day celebration of Asian countries and cultures.
